It s crazy to think that kratos killed his entire family his divine and also his human family.

Kratos killed his family. God of war ii. His family was in that village and he was so blind with rage he didn t know. Kratos the bald badass protagonist of god of war iii spends all his time in an inhuman ragebecause years ago greek god of war ares tricked him into murdering his own wife and child. Ok now we re getting somewhere.

Kratos now distraught and vulnerable nearly met his end at the hands of ares but soon took notice of the blade of the gods and used it to finally destroy the god of war. One day ares betrayed kratos and tricked him to murder his wife and daughter. And through the fire he couldn t identify people so he just killed everyone in the chapel and found them dead on the floor by his blades. He killed zeus his father cronos grandfather gaia grandma his wife and daughter his mom when she became a monster etc etc.

Zeus is kratos father. By now we all know the story. Well kratos got furious and began the road to vengeance to kill ares. He s like all alone.

Kratos decides to tell atreus that he had killed his fellow greek gods including his father zeus whose illusion he and atreus saw in helheim alongside an illusion of a younger kratos from god of war iii showing their final confrontation but he and atreus should learn from these experiences and not repeat past mistakes. And now to complete his revenge he s hell bent onmurdering his way throughthe entire greek pantheon. With ares and ceryxdown and nobody left to blame but himself and everyone else in his immediate vicinity kratos starts killing his way through the family in earnest. Which he does and becomes the new god of war.
